Mumbai: Pharma firm Amrutanjan today said its net profit jumped nearly 29-fold to Rs87.23 crore for the second quarter ended 30 September.
The company had a net profit of Rs3.03 crore in the same period last fiscal, Amrutanjan said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income rose to Rs23.30 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs22.77 crore in the same quarter last year.
For the half year ended 30 September, the company has posted a net profit of Rs87.54 crore, against Rs3.55 crore for the same period previous fiscal.
Total income of Amrutanjan rose to Rs35.75 crore for the six months ended 30 September, from Rs33.50 crore in the year-ago period.
