Mumbai: Infrastructure and construction firm Maytas Infra today said it, in consortium with C T Ramanathan, has bagged an order worth Rs110 crore from the Southern Railway for track doubling projects.
The company has bagged this order in a joint venture with C T Ramanathan and the project is expected to be completed in 18 months, Maytas Infra said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scope of project includes the doubling of railway track between Chengalpattu and Villupuram, the company added.
“We look forward to deliver this project on time using our strengths of people, machinery and technology,” Maytas Infra Chief Financial Officer V V Rama Raju said.
Maytas Infra surged over two per cent and was trading at Rs164 in the late afternoon trade on the BSE.
