Indore: Showcasing low cost and high capacity ink cartridges, Hewlett-Packard (HP) on Friday launched e-printer and mobile printer ranges in Madhya Pradesh.
Cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior held great potential for the top technology company’s range of printers, including all-in-one printers, HP country category manager (imaging and printing products) Bharat Kharbanda told a press conference here.
E-printer, costing around Rs 8,200, allows consumers to print directly by sending an email from even a mobile phone handset to printer’s e-mail address, Kharbanda said, adding it does not require any driver or cable.
The battery-operated mobile-printer, costing Rs 17,000, has also been introduced, he said, adding all latest HP printers have multiple functionalities of fax, scan, copy and web.
HP enjoys 70% market share in printer market in India and is planning a new strategy to fuel its future growth, Kharbanda said.
