New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday registered its fourth first information report (FIR) against Saradha Constructions, its chairman and managing director Sudipta Sen and other company officials in a case related to the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam.
The FIR was filed in West Bengal, a CBI official said, asking not to be named.
The agency on Monday also searched seven locations in Odisha related to the Midas Touch Group and Eshore Group of companies.
“Documents such as statement of accounts, cheques, deposit slips of several bank accounts, statement showing collection of deposits and expenditure were found and seized (from Midas Touch)," the official said.
