New Delhi: Integrated infrastructure development company, Era Infra Engineering Ltd, has posted a 63% rise in revenues at Rs340.39 crore for the quarter ended 31 December, 2007, against Rs208.31 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
According to a press release issued by Era Infra on 14 January, the company’s EBITDA doubled to Rs82.62 crore during the same period, while its net profit rose 38.89% to Rs27.64 crore. The non-annualized EPS at the end of Q3 of the current fiscal was at Rs12.59. The operating margins rose to 22% from 18% in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
For the nine months ended 31 December, 2007, Era Infra Engineering’s net income was at Rs877.23 crore, up 77% from Rs495.48 crore during the corresponding period last year, while the company reported a net profit of Rs84.61 crore as against Rs48.83 crore in the year-ago period, registering a growth of 73.27%. EPS for the first nine months of FY 2007-08 stood at Rs38.53 compared to Rs.26.24 in the same period in FY 2006-07.
Era Infra Engineering’s ready-mix concrete (RMC) division plans to invest Rs400 crore over the next three years to build 50 plants, the release said. At present, the firm has three operational plants in the NCR and plans to set up three more by March 2008.
