3i Infotech ups earnings, revenue guidance for FY09

Mumbai: Software services firm 3i Infotech Ltd has revised its outlook for 2008-09 and sees earnings per share to between Rs14 to Rs14.50, the company said late on Wednesday.

The company has also upped its revenue guidance for the year to Rs22 billion to Rs23 billion, accounting for business from its U.S. acquisition Regulus and its order visibility, it said in its statement.

Its original guidance estimated earnings at Rs13 to Rs13.5 a share while revenue was seen rising 40% to Rs17 billion.

For the quarter to September, the company’s profit after tax rose 67% to Rs719.4 million, while revenue more than doubled to Rs6.07 billion.

Its earnings per share for the quarter was Rs5.09 rupees.
