London: ArcelorMittal secured an additional $1.2 billion of funding, extending its existing financing until 2012 after the company posted a fourth-quarter loss and sales declined.
The new funding was structured by Calyon, the investment-banking unit of Credit Agricole SA, Luxembourg-based ArcelorMittal said on Thursday in a statement.
Two Sterlite Industries directors resign
Mumbai: Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd said directors Tarun Jain and Dwarka Prasad Agarwal quit to comply with a stock-listing rule.
Jain, who was finance director at the Mumbai-based company, ceased to be a board member effective 31 March, Sterlite said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday.
