Windows on the go
If you're waiting for a Windows tablet for home use, then it's probably best to wait for one more month
For lots of people, a lack of Windows is the only thing that keeps them from investing in a tablet. Milagrow’s Kupa X11 tablet which launched earlier this month runs Windows 7 with touch optimisation, but is it a good buy?
On paper, it’s got a 10 hour battery life, and a full HD screen. There’s 64GB of storage on the base model, and a dual-core 1.6GHz CPU. Plus, there are two USB 3.0 ports here for pendrives and dongles. Plus, there’s an HDMI out for presentations and this tablet supports WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G, with a SIM card slot here. For ₹ 54,000, that’s a pretty good deal.
We feel that while the tablet has some good points for businesses, the average user should wait for the launch of Windows 8 tablets next month.
