Prasar Bharati chief’s resignation accepted
New Delhi: The government on Friday accepted the resignation of Prasar Bharati chairman Arun Bhatnagar after over six months of its submission.
A retired Indian Administrative Officer, Bhatnagar, resigned over his differences with the Prasar Bharati chief executive officer B.S. Lalli.
He submitted the resignation following the rift in the 10-member Prasar Bharati board over disputed minutes of a meeting of the board. The resignation which was sent to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has now been accepted by the government.
