As an organisation, we are determined to be the first and last word in communications excellence. The appointments we are making today show that we are investing in senior talent to support that ambition in India, so we can firstly build on our world-class Carat brand and secondly bring new services and skills to our clients in what is certainly one of the most exciting markets in the world today."

The first of the changes will see Charles Berley Jenarius, currently CEO Carat Group India, moving into a new role of Country Director Aegis Media India where he will be responsible for the building of Aegis Media’s diversified services businesses, through acquisition or start up.

Rachna comes with both operational and strategic skills in human resource development, and will play a key role in rebuilding the India business.

We also intend to appoint a CEO from outside the company to take Carat India to the next level of success and during this search I will take on the role of acting CEO," Richard said.
