Warne takes team home

The nail-biting finish saw Shane Warne hitting his former team mate - Andrew Symonds for two consecutive sixes in the final over.

Earlier, put in to bat, Deccan Chargers scored 214/5 thanks to some lusty hitting by Andrew Symonds who scored 117 of just 53 balls. Rohit Sharma (36), Arjun Yadav (16) and skipper VVS Laxman (16) also chipped in with useful contributions.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals clinched victory with a ball to spare. Graeme Smith (71), Yusuf Pathan (61), Md. Kaif (34) and Shane Warne (22 n.o.) were the top scorers.
