Sri Lanka wins toss, elect to bat in final against India
Mumbai: Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and elected to bat against India in the summit clash of the cricket World Cup at the Wankhede stadium on Saturday.
India have brought in paceman S Sreesanth in place of an injured Ashish Nehra.
In good news for Sri Lanka, ace spinner Muttiah Muariltharan is taking the field for his swansong match but the Islanders have made four changes to their side as they left out allrounder Angelo Mathews, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath and Chamara Silva.
Thisara Perera, Suraj Randiv, Nuwan Kulasekara and Chamara Kapugedera are the replacements.
