Lintas Media Group (LMG) has announced a new structure and leadership team. Said Lynn de Souza, director, LMG: “Lintas Media Group, with its new armoury of Best Practices and Tools from the IPG (Interpublic Group) family, will augment clients with the ammunition they need to ensure their brands impact to win." The new structure is planned around “collectives" that focus on key clients or regions. Accordingly, Sudha Natrajan and N.P. Sathyamurty have been made joint presidents to head specific “client collectives", and “regional collectives" for the south-east and west regions, respectively. Premjeet Sodhi has been appointed executive vice-president and will head the collectives based in the north.
JWT India managing partner and national business development head Tarun Rai has put in his papers. Rai has spent nearly 18 years at JWT. Said Rai: “I built my career at JWT. I joined as an account executive. While...it is difficult moving out, the opportunity that I have is very exciting and challenging." Rai started his career with Asian Paints Ltd in 1986 before joining JWT Delhi.
Shashi Kalathil, chief executive officer, Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt. Ltd has quit. ‘Mint’ had reported this in its People Post column on 19 December. Kalathil has worked for around 24 years in diverse fields, including packaged goods, telecom and broadband. His next destination is expected to be Future Group, say people familiar with the development in the group. Kalathil was unavailable for comment.
Worldwide Media Corp.—the joint venture between BBC Worldwide Ltd and Times Group—has announced that its CEO, Devashish Sarkar, has quit. His next destination is not known.
