New Delhi: Euro Books presents Quick & Flupke in an all-new, full colour, graphic novel series in 11 entertaining titles comprising of 48 pages. The popular series is a creation of Hergé, the writer and illustrator of the famed Tintin comics.
Quick & Flupke graphic novels from Euro Books are based on the life of two street urchins who intentionally or unintentionally cause trouble, much to the annoyance of their parents and police. Based on the comedy of errors, the books are designed to tickle readers’ funny bone.
Published by Euro Books, a division of EuroKids International Private Limited, they are priced at Rs199 each and are available in all leading book stores in India.
The original Quick & Flupke series was published in black and white in the pages of Le Petit Vingtième starting in January 1930. The strips continued until 1940, however after Hergé’s death, the books were coloured by the Studios Hergé and re-issued by the publishing house Casterman in 12 volumes, between 1985 and 1991
