Mumbai: NDTV Network Plc, a division of New Delhi Television Ltd plans to launch four channels in September, two in India and two overseas, according to a senior executive of the media company.
The channels include one in the Middle East, another through its joint venture with Astro All Asia and its first city channel for New Delhi, NDTV Chief Executive KVL Narayan Rao said late on 30August, on the sidelines of a press meet.
The fourth, a lifestyle channel ‘NDTV Good Times´, will target the 20-30-year-old English-speaking population. The channel has a branding tie-up with UB Group’s Kingfisher.
The UB Group is expected to invest Rs1 billion in the channel.
