Naina Hegde has joined Percept Holdings Pvt. Ltd as vice-president, mergers and acquisitions and treasury operations. Hegde was earlier vice-president, finance and accounts, Phoenix Mills Ltd.

Satish Menon, president (sponsorship and business development) at Zee Sports, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, has put in his papers, and will be joining Network 18 Group. Menon said he would be in charge of new businesses, which could include sports at Network 18. The exact designation and portfolio would be revealed at a later date, he added. Prior to Zee Sports, Menon was president, sports and media, Nimbus Communications.

Sharmila Malekar has joined Perspectrum, the integrated marketing communications consultancy from Percept Holdings Pvt. Ltd, as director planning and research. Prior to this, Malekar was vice-president, Publicis Ambience Advertising.

Creative star, Sonal Dabral, is now back from Singapore, and is the new chairman of Bates David Enterprise, India and regional executive creative director of Bates Asia. Dabral, who has already been working on a big pitch for Bates, will look at raising the creative bar further at the agency and says that coming up with good and strong ideas will remain his focus.
