Bengaluru: Australia’s all-rounder Shane Watson on Saturday emerged as the biggest draw going for a whopping Rs9.50 crore, while Yuvraj Singh was the costliest buy among the Indians with a bid of Rs7 crore in a rather low-key IPL players’ auction in today.
Following is the top players list so far:
■ Shane Watson
All-rounder Shane Watson, who had a base price of Rs2 crore, was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore at an auction price of Rs9.5 crore.
■ Pawan Negi
Delhi all-rounder Pawan Negi, who had a base price of Rs30 lakh, was sold to Delhi Daredevils at an auction price of Rs8.5 crore.
■ Yuvraj Singh
All-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who had a base price of Rs2 crore, was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad at an auction price of Rs7 crore.
■ Christopher Morris
All-rounder Christopher Morris, who had a base price of Rs50 lakh, was sold to Delhi Daredevils at an auction price of Rs7 crore.
■ Mohit Sharma
Bowler Mohit Sharma, who had a base price of ₹ .5 crore, was sold to Kings Punjab at an auction price of ₹ 6.5 crore.
■ Asish Nehra
Bowler Asish Nehra, who had a base price of ₹ lakh, was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad at an auction price of ₹ 5.5 crore.
■ Mitchell Marsh
All-rounder Mitchell Marsh, who had a base price of ₹ 2 crore, was sold to Rising Pune Supergiants at an auction price of ₹ .8 crore.
■ Sanju Samson
Wicket-keeper Sanju Samson, who had a base price of Rs2 crore, was sold to Delhi Daredevils at an auction price of Rs4.2 crore.
■ Ishant Sharma
Bowler Ishant Sharma, who had a base price of Rs2 crore, was sold to Rising Pune Supergiants at an auction price of Rs3.8 crore.
■ Praveen Kumar
Bowler Praveen Kumar, who had a base price of Rs50 lakh, was sold to Gujarat Lions at an auction price of Rs3.5 crore.
