New Delhi: Starcom MediaVest Group today announced that its lead agency Starcom Worldwide has been appointed as media partner by Cotton County, a premier readymade garments company launched in 2004 by Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd (NIEL).

Commented Tarun Nigam, executive director, India- North & Pakistan, Starcom Worldwide , “Our key role will be to define and communicate Cotton County’s brand personality through strategic, targeted and creative media planning and in the process, its media negotiation entity, India Media Exchange will strive to bring value addition through smart and contextual buying."

The company scores in the area of creative multitude of contact points rather than classical media alone. With over 400 Cotton County outlets in Tier-II & III cities in North and Central India, Nahar Retail recently forayed into southern and western India. It is the only Indian textile company to buy raw cotton and sell finished garments with world-class in house, spinning, weaving processing and garmenting, finishing, embroidery and manufacturing facilities.

Starcom’s Delhi office will handle the account which is estimated to be approximately Rs20 crore.
