Monday’s match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians brought in strong television rating points (TRPs) of 6% in cable and satellite homes of viewers aged 15 and above (CS15+) and 5.6% in CS4+ homes, according to Audience Measurement and Analytics Ltd, an overnight television audience measurement agency.

The viewership response continues to surpass that of seasons one and two, with TRPs looming 140% higher than the 17th match played in season two in both viewership markets, and 62-70% higher than season one, in the CS15+ and CS4+markets, respectively.
