New Delhi: With travel being the latest buzzword to invade the huge middle class, established MNCs and corporates are seeing sense in branching out into what could be a lucrative and long-term business opportunity.
Sahara Global is the latest player in the field to launch “Celebrate Life”- a pan India brand promotional campaign which aims to make the business group a “preferred travel and tourism partner” across India. The first leg of the campaign kicked off on 9 May from Noida and it plans to touch 54 cities in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi/ NCR.
Specially mounted Sahara Global teams will travel all across these cities in branded vans and SUVs. The objective of the campaign is to give customers a chance to interact with the teams and acquiant themselves of the various travel and tourism services which the brand has to offer.
Romi Datta, CEO, Sahara International Business Division said, “We are offering a large travel service network which hopes to tap the phenomenal growth in the domestic and international travel segment. As part of our support function, we already have an independent call centre and a 24x7 toll free number.We will also launch a web portal soon.”
The road show will provide information through posters, banners, and collaterals. Brand visibility will also be created in cities like Hisar, Panipat, Sonepat, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Chandigarh, Mohali, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda, Bilaspur, Ropar, Dharamshala, Simla, Mandi, Dharamshala and Kangra.
