New Delhi: The crocodile emblem synonymous with premium French lifestyle brand, Lacoste has over the years expanded its range to include more t-shirts while simultaneously making a parallel foray into western formal attire and fashion accessories.
Announcing the launch of its flagship boutique in the capital, Lacoste, Vikas Gupta, MD & CEO, said “The Delhi boutique is among the top three of our stores in the world.”
Designed by Christophe Pillet across a sprawling 7000 sq ft, it is spread over three levels, costing the company a whooping $1million to construct and design.
With a relaxed ambience, there is ample space to browese around, try out different styles and in a no-fuss manner finalize one’s buying choice. Touted also as a place to ‘unwind’ it combines modernity with traditional in terms of classic weaves and cuts that can never go out of fashion.
The store’s highlight for the festive season is their housing a brand new collection that was showcased recently at the New York Fashion Week. Mufflers, jackets and,cardigans rub shoulders with evening dresses and head gear of all shapes and sizes.
On offer are also eyewear, perfumes, shoes, bags and watches for men, women and children. The brand is 14 years old in India, having opened their first outlet in Mumbai.
