New Delhi: Reebok and Brand Ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni joined hands in felicitating kids who showcased their creativity and the “I am what I am” attitude in the recently concluded Rbk paint your T-shirt contest.
The kids, who were flown in from cities across the country, were thrilled to walk the ramp with the much-in-news cricket sensation. The campaign was part of a television and retail media promotion. Seeing children as free spirited with a fearless attitude, the leading sports brand uses new technologies to make kids comfortable enough to go that extra inch forward.
Most of their products in the sportswear range like soccer boots, cricket boots, cricket equipment and basketball shoes stimulate proper foot and arch development, ideal for young growing bodies.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that the event got him nostalgic as it brought back vivid memories of his childhood when he used to play with tennis ball cricket in his colony.
The highlight of the evening was a fashion show where models sported designs created by the young participants. Later in true-blue designer style, Dhoni walked the ramp with other models escorting kids centre stage, amidst much cheering.
Sports scholarships were awarded by Reebok. The best artists would be presented a spanking pair of new Reebok shoes, every year, till they passed out of high school.
