New Delhi: Lufthansa Nat Geo Genius’s latest quiz show went on air on 19January on National Geographic Channel. Anchored by acclaimed director and actor Rajat Kaoor, the 27-episode voyage, will be aired on National Geographic Channel every week.

The show attempts to zero in on the person who knows the most about the planet. Using earth as a race track, contestants will be challenged on their knowledge of the countries they pass through on a virtual expedition around the world.
The winner will be get an all expenses paid trip for two, to the destination of their choice.
The international version of the show, ‘Nat Geo Genius’ was originally produced by Granada for National Geographic and the Indian version is produced by Miditech.
“It was a great learning experience to be a part of this show as the show had questions from across the globe. To take a final tally of 2500 questions from the proposed 5,000 questions was a challenge faced by the research team. Also, we had to device a new quiz software for this show which could go round the globe with each participant , in each country, at every detination”, informed Paramangsu Mukherjee, director, Lufthana Nat Geo Genius.
The contestants’ race against the clock to circumnavigate the globe and get back to their starting point while accumulating maximum miles along the way. A dream vacation for two on Lufthansa first class is the ultimate prize, as Rajat puts the travellers to the ultimate test of knowledge in true Nat Geo style.
