Mudra Communications Pvt. Ltd has announced that it has appointed Rondeep Gongoi as creative director in Delhi. Gongoi comes from JWT India, where he worked in a similar capacity.
CNN International has appointed Sonali Chatterjee news sales director for India and South Asia. She was earlier with BBC World, where she was head of sponsorship and client solutions for India.
Essel Group’s Dish TV has announced the departure of its CEO, Arun Kumar Kapoor, who is moving on after 18 months with the organization. The company release says: “During his tenure, the organization consolidated its position as the country’s largest DTH platform, which today carries 185 channels on its platform and enjoys over 3 million subscribers.
Under his able leadership, it also evolved from being a monopoly market set-up to one that is highly competitive, ready to embrace a multiplayerenvironment.”
Publicis India has appointed Naresh Gupta executive vice-president, planning. Before this, he was with Grey Global Group, South Asia, as vice-president, strategic planning. Gupta has about 20 years of experience in the industry and has worked on big brands such as
Suzlon, Parle Frooti, ITC Foods, UB Group, Vimal, Samsung, Appy Fizz, Cavin Kare, Britannia, Ranbaxy and Haier, to name a few.
“Naresh has a well-grounded, strategic mind. He will be a key force in taking our planning agenda forward,” said Partha Sinha, chief strategy officer, South and South-East Asia, Publicis.
