Walking in almost three hours late, the star tried making up to reporters, photographers and eager buyers who had patiently held out.
Wearing trademark jeans teamed up with a black V-neck shirt, he had casually flung across a sleek leather jacket, very much the quintessential style icon that he is.
Chasm is a smart contemporary brand, producing apparel, that will cater to a modern urban audience, or as Fardeen said, “It signifies “strong classic fashion”.
The clothing range is diverse, stylish, funky yet classic, cool and formal. It covers formals, smart casuals, party and evening wear for both men and women. Affordable and trendy the styling is more for today’s young generation.
Priced in the band of Rs1000-7000, there was a dominance of blacks, creams and browns with jackets in pure wool with fur trimmings hogging prime display space.
Models Diva Dhawan and Yasub walked the store wearing cardigans and stylishly cut jackets - both short and fitted and long ones, strapped together with a belt.
Chasm and Mystic Monk already have a presence in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Jaipur, and this was their fourth store in the city.
On the occasion, when asked, what would Fardeen Khan do if he was made Santa for a day, he said, “If I could be Santa, I would love to give a home to every single homeless human being. ”
