N Rangnekar to lead Starcom Worldwide’s West India operations

New Delhi: Starcom Worldwide, part of Starcom MediaVest Group, today announced the elevation of Nikhil Rangnekar, to the position of Executive Director, India-West.
Presently holding the position of general manager, in charge of the Procter & Gamble account, he will continue to report to Manish Porwal, managing director, India-West & South and assume his new role before the end of the year.
According to Manish Porwal, “Most of our client companies are witnessing dramatic business growth. They are optimistic about their future and are scaling up their marketing investments.”
Starcom has recently got the Jet Airways, JetLite, Tata Housing, Mirae Assets, and Kotak Mahindra accounts.
Nikhil’s elevation they feel will add depth to their management bandwidth and will help them engage better with clients.
Added Ravi Kiran, CEO-South Asia, Starcom MediaVest Group, “Nikhil is loved as a coach and a mentor and would add real value to his new role.”
A 1997 business management post graduate from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai University, Rangnekar joined Starcom from campus. Over the first three years he spent at the agency, he worked on almost all of the agency’s key accounts – Procter & Gamble, Heinz, Balsara, Fiat amongst others.
