Chennai: Leading Tamil satellite channel Raj-TV had inked an agreement with the Singapore government-owned TV-12 for supplying programmes to be telecast in that country.
Under the agreement, Raj-TV would be supplying contents for over 1,500 hours in next two years, starting from April five, the company’s director M Raveendran told PTI here today.
TV-12’s Tamil channel, ‘Vasantham Central´, would be beaming serials produced by the Raj-TV for the next two years.
Game shows and movies also be given to TV-12, he said.
This would enable the company, which hit the capital market recently, net an annual revenue of Rs.3 crore each for two years.
He said the tie-up would give the company an opportunity to assess the likes and dislikes of television viewers in the entire South East Asian region.
“This would ultimately help us when we offer the entire bouquet of Raj-TV channels to South East Asian viewers,” he said.
