Goafest 2009 for advertising excellence on 2 April

“As per the theme for this year, the discussion will be on what brands and clients should do to ride the market conditions during a slowdown," said Colvyn Harris, Chairman Goafest and CEO JWT India.

“Slowdown is a fabulous opportunity in a way. One has to be more innovative in order to make the most of the resources. The focus would be on how to get over this difficult period and how to increase our client base," Harris said.

The fourth edition of Goafest is organised by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) in association with the Advertising Club Bombay. The festival begins from 2 April and will go on till 4 April at the Cavelossim beach, Goa.

Apart from the conclave, the highlight of three-day fest is the Abby awards that are given for excellence in advertising and communication.
