I’m really looking forward to both entities, AAAI and Ad Club, joining hands for the first time. It really is quite a historical event for the Indian advertising industry.
An award ceremony is usually judged on the jury and the number of agencies participating. This year, we have both a tough jury and more agencies participating than before, so it could easily be one of the best award shows in India for decades.

I was in Ogilvy before this and they did not participate in the Goafest before, so this is really my first time, and I’m quite excited about it. There are some 200 people attending from Rediffusion, so it will be a good chance to meet everyone from all over. Also, Rediffusion is having a two-day workshop, two days prior to the fest in Goa. So for us the fun begins earlier.

I am one of the judges for Goafest and, going by the work I have judged so far, I can easily say that it is some of the best work I have ever seen done by the industry. I am now looking forward to the fest to see the other work submitted for categories which I haven’t yet seen. Other than work, I’m looking forward to the beach and some fish steaks.

I’m looking forward to the seminars and what the speakers have to say. Also, it will be nice to see all the work done by the industry and, most importantly, two-three days of doing absolutely nothing but eating, drinking and making merry.

This is the first year that there will be no issues and no ego between AAAI and the Ad Club, so that is something to look forward to. Also, we will get to see some great fresh work from across the industry. It should also be a lot more fun as there are more agencies participating this year.

I’m looking forward to seeing all the good work from the agencies. In advertising, one basically has knowledge about what’s going on in their agency and we hardly get a chance to see and appreciate the work in the industry. The Goafest will be a good run-through (of work) among other agencies.
