India’s third largest telecom operator, Idea Cellular Ltd, renewed its association with the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the third time in a row as sponsor for the Delhi Daredevils. The company was earlier associated with the Mumbai Indians in 2009 and the Deccan Chargers in 2010.
Sashi Shankar, chief marketing officer, Idea Cellular spoke to Mint regarding the association with IPL so far, financial investments for the season and the company’s new marketing initiatives for the Idea subscribers.
