Mumbai: World’s youngest enterpreneur ,Bangalore based Suhas Gopinath, is planning to make his first ever acquisition.
Gopinath who is credited with setting up a company in the US in the year 2000 called Globals Inc when he was only 14 year-old is currently negotiating to acquire a German company.
Gopinath who was here over the weekend for a lecture organised by Priyadarshni Academy, however, declined to divulge details about the acquisition like the size of the deal and when would he conclude it.
All he said that the German company is not listed on a stock exchange.
Gopinath’s company Globals is also not listed as of now though he may do it after about four years, he said.
Globals, however, does need funds for growth and its website carries a section for investors who may want to invest in the company.
Currently, Globals operates from 11 countries with headquarters in the US having grown dramatically over the last eight years.
He had to register the company at San Jose, California as Indian laws would not allow a minor to start a company. However, he said he has plans to shift the headquarters to Bangalore. He, himself, currently operates from Bangalore.
