New Delhi: Reebok India has launched the first ever authentic cricket and sports equipment store in New Delhi, adding to their existing 675 stores. The new 2200 sq ft outlet will house all kinds of cricket and other sports equipment including sports apparel and footwear.

Reebok has nine of the existing eleven players of the current one-day squad as Reebok brand ambassadors. MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan, Irfan Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma, Robin Utthappa, Sanath Jayasurya, Mahela Jayawardene, M Muralitharan are popular figures, endorsing the sports company’s products.
The USP of the store would be a display of authentic cricket gear used by top international cricketers on the field as well as merchandize used by players of the four IPL teams (Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Rajasthan Royals). For example the store will have MS Dhoni’s bat displayed with a note listing its full specifications like weight, handle type etc.
Subhinder Singh Prem, managing director, Reebok India Company informed that the “Customization for cricket lovers programme” will allow consumers to choose a bat that has been used by say MS Dhoni or Gautam Gambhir and place an order for a similar one. The special made-to-order bat will then be delivered to the customer within 15-21 days.
The ‘Cricket memorabilia section’ will have equipment used by players in legendary cricket matches like the ball with which Irfan Pathan bowled a crucial over at ICC T20 final and so on. Apart from keeping all cricket related merchandize, the store will also stock gear for soccer, tennis and other sports. The store will also have a fitness section comprising treadmills, gym balls and gear for different work-outs.
