Wunderman India Pvt. Ltdhas promoted Satish Sathyanarayana as chief executive officer. This position was earlier occupied by Rajat Sethi, who was CEO and director on the company’s board. Sethi will leave the firm by the end of this month.CEO of Radio City 91.1FM, Apurva Purohit, has been elected as president of the national governing board of the Association of Radio Operators for India. The board has four other senior vice-presidents: Big 92.7FM chief operating officer Tarun Katial, Red FM COO Abraham Thomas, Entertainment Network (India) Ltd CEO Prashant Pandey and Jagran Prakashan Ltd radio director and project head Rahul Gupta.The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has appointed Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd executive president Bhaskar Das as chairman of its board. In addition, Mudra Communications Pvt. Ltd MD and CEO Madhukar Kamath was elected vice-chairman, and Tata Motors Ltd president (passenger car business unit) Rajiv Dube was reappointed treasurer.The Indian Newspaper Society (INS) has elected a new body for 2007-08. Bahubali Shah, the managing director and editor of Lok Prakashan Ltd’s ‘Gujarat Samachar’, has been elected president. Harish Kanchan has been appointed business head for Pearl Media, the media sales arm of Century Communication Ltd (CCL), an integrated media and entertainment company. Kanchan joins in place of ex-CEO Sanjay Reddy, who recently moved out to join Zee Telugu-Zee Network Ltd as its CEO.
