The World Cinema section has seven 2007 releases and two 2006 releases while the rest were made in 2005.

“Among the countries where cinema has played a role in cultural life, France and India occupy special place. From the inception of this form of art, both India and France have felt a strong inclination for what was commonly known as the 7th art," French Ambassador Jirtme Bonnafont said.
