New Delhi: ArtistAloud, a platform for independent music, won the best strategic programme award at IndiaSocial CaseChallenge2, with MTV Roadies the first runner-up. Max New York Life was second runner-up.
The awards seek to recognize excellence in the social aspect of marketing plans. IndiaSocial says it’s the country’s largest social media community and “aims to bring together stakeholders in the Indian digital eco-system for engagement, sharing, learning and collaboration in a vibrant space – physical and virtual.”
Mint was a partner at this year’s awards, the second time they are being held. There were 105 submissions across three categories – best strategic programme, best short-term campaign and best use of platform.
ArtistAloud had an innovative approach to building a platform for independent music, IndiaSocial said in a release.
Reebok -- the Butt Revolution won the best short-term campaign award, with Book My Show and Channel [V] in second and third position respectively.
The best use of a platform award was won by Fastrack “for its use of Facebook for its 1 million fans celebration campaign.” Idea was second, followed by Kaya Skin Clinic in third.
Two cases were recommended for a special mention by the jury – MustBol and RangDe.
