Mumbai: Broadcast Initiatives Ltd, a group company of Sri Adhikari Brothers has entered into an agreement with Star India to market advertising slots of its Hindi news channel Live India.
“This is a critical partnership for us and we consider it a significant asset to securing a strong advertising revenue base for our Live India,” Broadcast Initiatives Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Markand Adhikari said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Under the agreement, Star India would exclusively look after sales of advertising slots for Live India with immediate effect.
Commenting on the agreement, Star India President (Advertising Sales & Distribution) Paritosh Joshi said: “This is the first time Star India has offered its incomparable advertising sales capabilities to a channel outside its own network. It is our intent to quickly evolve into the region’s top integrated broadcast services organization and this deal underscores the seriousness of this intent.”
