New Delhi: It was a painful Sunday night for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the Rajasthan Royals medium-pacer Sohail Tanvir wrecked havoc in their batting line-up clipping six wickets creating a Twenty20 cricket record in the process at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Except for the toss, nothing went right for the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings who were bowled out for a mere 109 in 19 overs.
Chasing the shortest so far in the tournament, the host stormed past the target in 14.2 overs for the loss of two wickets. Opener Graeme Smith remained unbeaten on 35.
The former Aussie spin wizard Shane Warne-led Rajasthan Royals now top the IPL points chart with the victory.
