Fever 104 becomes official radio partner for Delhi Daredevils
PremiumNew Delhi: HT Music and Entertainment Company on Tuesday said its subsidiary Fever 104 FM has become the official radio partner for IPL team Delhi Daredevils.
“We are extremely pleased to continue our partnership with GMR Sports (owners of Delhi Daredevils). Like last year, apart from the coverage, we are working on new initiatives for the listeners," Fever 104 FM station head Neeraj Chaturvedi said.
“It is Delhi’s team and we would like to extend the initiatives to the people so that they can be a part of the team," he added.
In 2008, the radio station ran a six-week contest offering passes for the matches and team merchandise as prizes apart from initiatives where team players visited homes of the winners and few children were chosen to lead the team to the match grounds.
“This year also we are planning new initiatives. Though it is too early to comment now, I can say we want to build something like the English Premier League," Chaturvedi said.
HTME has a collaboration with Virgin Radio and has stations in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata.
