Apple and Microsoft are competitors. Apple has the iPod, Microsoft has the desktop. There are more users of Quicktime and iTunes on Windows than on Apple. Yet, Apple has issued a statement that tells its users not to upgrade to Windows Vista until the fix for iTunes is released. So if you like iTunes and Windows, bad luck!
There are raging debates going on across the Web as to who is at fault. And most seem to agree on the fact that this time it’s Apple’s fault. Apple has had a lot of time to fix potential problems and there was a working version of iTunes for an earlier Beta release of Vista. So why not now? There are also theories among users that Apple is trying to pull Vista down. Is it because of the impending OS X Panther release of Apple? It would seem so. For the moment, though, it would appear as though the iPod killer is finally here! Windows Vista.
