A few days ago, the US Senate passed a healthcare bill that President Obama had championed energetically for all of 2009. The process of passing this bill has stimulated intense debate in the United States, and comparisons have inevitably been drawn to healthcare systems in Europe and Asia.

To answer these questions, our guest is Shashwat Sharma, a KPMG India director with extensive experience in the healthcare and health insurance industry.
