Telecom minister A. Raja’s resignation on Sunday night came too late for us to carry in the paper as the print run had already begun. While we can interrupt the presses, taking such a call would depend on the importance of the development. While each news break is handled on merit, we consider livemint an organic part of Mint and as such part of the same news continuum. Needless to say, Raja’s resignation was updated on our website as the news broke.
