Airtel Bengalooru Habba 2007

A cultural festival for the people, the Airtel Bengalooru Habba will be held in several parts of the city with several clubs, art complexes such as Chitrakala Parishad, malls, Alliance Francaise, schools and the Chowdiah Memorial Hall playing host. This year, the festival will focus on promoting cultural talent in a larger way and will have sports as an added attraction. The music segment for the festival this year will include Hindustani and Carnatic classical music, along with jazz and rock. Theatre lovers can look forward to an English theatre performance, apart from productions from Kannada theatre. Interactive art stalls will include tiles and mask making, landscape installations and live animation. This year, the AFFA and the Karnataka Golf Association have come together to organize the Airtel Bengalooru Habba Golf tournament.

Tennis workshop

Kinesis Sports Ltd, a city-based tennis training institute, is organizing a three-day workshop, conducted by well-known United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR) coach Louie Cap. The workshop includes various programmes such as cardio tennis and a USPTR certification course for new applicants.
