The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on Monday said major emerging economies such as India, China and Brazil are showing clear signs of a slowdown, while the US and Japan may be turning around. The composite leading indicators (CLIs) released by OECD are designed to anticipate turning points in economic activity relative to current trends. The organization expects India’s economic growth to slow to 8.2% in 2011 and 7.8% in 2012.
