IGate Global Q2 net up 2 fold at Rs 24 cr

Mumbai: Software solutions provider iGate Global Solutions on 10 October posted over two fold rise in net profit at Rs23.78 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, compared to Rs10.60 crore for the same quarter last year.
The total income of the company increased 2.09% to Rs190.83 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, from Rs186.93 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
“We closed the second quarter with a healthy order book giving us optimism for revenue growth. In addition, improved productivity and efficiency coupled with our differentiated iTOPS model helped us grow margins strongly” iGATE Global Solutions CEO Phaneesh Murthy said.
The group recorded a net profit of Rs22.92 crore for the September quarter, against Rs10.14 crore last ago.
Total income of the group increased to Rs203.51 crore for the September quarter, from Rs202.34 crore for the corresponding period in the previous year.
The board of directors at its meeting today inducted Hariharan Sambhashiva as an Additional Director of the company.
