Mumbai:The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the appointment of V.G. Mathew as managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Kerala-based South Indian Bank Ltd for three years with effect from 1 October, the bank said in a
notice to the stock exchanges. Mathew succeeds V.A. Joseph, who retires on 30 September after a 12-year stint with the bank.
