This is a special episode of the Playcast, not only because we have a female voice on this traditionally male audio domain of the geek, but also because it’s earth day! So in the interest of earth day, we’re focusing on a company that has come up with an innovative way of teaching people the importance of going green.
This week we’re speaking to Hilmi Quraishi, project director, Connect 2 Climate, ZMQ software systems. Quraishi is the head of a project that uses mobile devices and gaming to educate people on climate change in collaboration with TERI (The Energy and Resources Unit). They have a number of mobile games under this initiative and Quraishi will tell us more.
There’s also a quick reminder for you. Don’t forget to catch Mint’s Special Issue “Greening the business” which has a bunch of useful green articles ranging from profiles to news on new green initiatives undertaken by individuals and companies. You can see it online on www.livemint.com/gogreen
