HTC Global Services to open Chennai centre
The US-based IT firm's new development centre will house 4,500 employees
Mumbai: HTC Global Services Inc., a US-based information technology (IT) services company with operations in India and Malaysia, is opening a development centre in Chennai that will house 4,500 employees, chief executive officer Madhava Reddy said.
The centre will support the company’s IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing growth. In addition to its existing workforce of over 6,500 employees, HTC Global Services also plans to recruit 10,000 employees globally over the next few years.
Reddy, president and CEO of HTC Global Services, said, “While we appreciate our organic growth, we are now seriously considering strategic acquisitions for aggressive growth."
