New Delhi: HMT Ltd, Tyre Corp. of India Ltd, ITI Ltd and Hindustan Photo Films are likely to receive revival packages from the government, O.P. Rawat, secretary, department of public sector enterprises, said on Tuesday.
On 31 January, the cabinet had cleared a Rs 200 crore revival package for Scooters India Ltd, which makes three-wheelers under the Vikram brand.
The Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises under the ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises recommends sick state-owned firms for revival.
The ministries which administer these companies are required to take forward the revival proposals which are at an advanced stage, Rawat said.
