BSNL to hike landline, broadband rentals from 1 March
One India monthly plan for landline will be revised from Rs180 to Rs195
Kolkata: India’s largest state-owned telecommunications service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has decided to increase the landline and broadband monthly tariff from 1 March across the country.
“One India monthly plan for landline will be revised from Rs180 to Rs195," BSNL CGM (Kolkata) Gautam Chakraborty told PTI.
The fixed monthly charge for limited usage broadband plans has similarly been increased. The revision is between Rs24 and Rs350 depending on the scheme, he added.
The Rs250 plan will now cost Rs275, Rs600 plan will get revised to Rs630 while, the Rs400 plan will cost Rs424, Rs2799 and Rs3699 plans will be dearer by Rs200 a month, he said.
The Rs4999 and 6999 plans will get hiked by Rs250 and 350 a month, he added.
