Microsoft will bring in technology and VSNL will be the service provider. Already a few thousand mailboxes were operational in the country, he added.
In India, currently the SME segment in this category was growing at an annual rate of 67% worth generating revenue worth Rs 500-600 crore.
“We would like to have a significant market share from this pie,” Qadiri added.
VSNL was also in talks with mobile service providers (GSM and CDMA) domestically and internationally and will announce the names shortly.
ReadyAcces also offers message security and hygiene with enterprise grade anti-spam and anti-virus solution, as well as on demand storage services. It will be offered by Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Unit sales force, the enterprise division of VSNL.
